Plastering Gypsum
This product uses gypsum as the binder, with graded quartz sand as the aggregate, and is mixed with multiple additives to form a new type of interior wall plaster material. It has the advantages of fast setting, early wall strength, and fire resistance of building gypsum, as well as good workability, easy application, fast construction, high bonding strength, resistance to hollowing, and low shrinkage. Even with thicker plaster layers, cracking is less likely to occur.。
Scope of Application
Suitable for thick-layer plastering and leveling of walls and ceilings.。
Application Method
1、Use clean tools, containers, and water. Add plastering gypsum to water at a water-to-powder ratio of 1:0.35, adjusting water amount according to desired consistency. Mix thoroughly and let sit for 3-5 minutes before mixing again for 1-2 minutes to make it ready for use.
2、Clean surface dust, dirt, and oil stains. Use mesh fabric to reinforce joints between different wall sections. For loose or smooth surfaces, use diluted wall bonding agents to treat and solidify the surface or create a rough texture with cement.
3、When applying, start with a thin layer to enhance bonding strength, and immediately apply a second coat. Each layer should be 3mm-10mm thick, and layers thicker than 10mm should be applied in multiple stages.
4、The mixed plastering gypsum should be used within 60 minutes. Do not add water to re-mix after initial setting.
Storage Instructions
Store in a well-ventilated and dry place. The storage temperature should be between 5℃-35℃. During transportation, prevent exposure to sunlight and moisture, and ensure the packaging remains intact.
Precautions
▶ It is recommended to apply between 5℃ and 35℃;
▶ Do not mix leftover plaster with water for re-use. Clean tools and containers promptly during continuous applications to prevent hardened gypsum from contaminating new plaster and causing rapid setting;
▶ After plastering, it is advisable to seal doors and windows to prevent cracking;
▶ For winter applications in low temperatures, ensure the plaster is completely dry before applying putty to avoid hollowing or cracking of the putty layer.
